350 swap

OK i know its possible to swap a 350 into my 305 car BUT is it safe?
my car has T-Tops and im worried about body twist. Please reply!!!

Sub frame connectors.
other then that its safe.

Make sure you get SFCs for a convertable or you will break the car up.

the car is T-Top do i NEED subframe connectors and if so are they expensive?

If you're not building a wild 350 I guess you dont need them, but they're a very good idea. www.spohn.net sells a really good pair, my friend has them on his RS. I just bought a pair of BMR ones but I havnt gotten them yet.

i just built a 383 and am going to have the sfc installed this week
my buddies dad builts drag cars for a living and is going to custom make me some for 250 cdn.
he is also putting in a roll bar

well its come down to this all i can find in a boneyard for an affordable RUNNING motor is 500 for a 350 so i might as well spend the money and build a 383 i mean why do the job halfway?

The 305's are putting out like 300lbs of torque....to be honest they should have come with some sort of reinforcing SFC to begin with. From what i've read you should get SFC even if you have a stock 305 to tighten the body up....and engine swap/mod that's going to put out higher then stock torque should get SFC's.....
