My tranny is knocking in my 305. And instead of getting it fixed I'm going to swap it out for another one. I was curious what a good and affordable tranny would be for a 1984 carbureted v8 5.0 and where I could order it from. Thanks for any help you may provide.

 

i think i would try a junk yard that guarantees their parts for at least 30 days that will probably run u 200-300 dollars if u get it from advanced auto or auto zone u r looking at about 1300 dollars
