305 tbi to tpi or carb?
Ive done some research on changing from tbi to carbuerated but i didnt find out much. i am also wondering how hard it would be to switch to tpi. has anyone either changed to carbuerated or tpi. if so what do i need and how hard would this be?

TBI to TPI is a surprizingly easy swap from what I've been told
watch for vats if you have it, or the TPI ecm you get has it,
but I'd get the TPI heads to make the swap more worth while,
electronics wise you just need the TPI engine harness,
make sure if you got a Camaro you get a harness from a Camaro
last swap my buddy did he forgot he pulled the motor from a T/A and had a bunch of problems cause battery is on oposite side

so bare minimum i need is the intake from a TPI motor and the wiring harness. what about fuel lines, vaccuum lines, and the throttle and trans cables, is there any problem there. i am not concerned about emissions at all.
everyone i have talked to has said to drop a 350 in it. i have just recently bought this car, a '91 RS, and i have a 350 from an '82 vette but im not sure i have enough time and experience to do the engine swap. i need this car as a daily driver and i dont think i have enough time to do the swap.

Personally, I don't think you should do this at all. Particularlly if you really think you may swap the engine down the road. Give it a good tune-up and enjoy it. Save some money while you research the 350 swap, then do it.
