I have a 1989 RS camaro with a v8 305 5.0L in her and i wanted to know how much horse a supercharger (approx.) would add and she is stock as of right now. Also any one know where I can find a supercharger for her and how much it would cost thank you.( It seems like a supercharger is the only way to get serious horsepower out of her to keep up with the big boys today.) thanx!

Nobody that I know of makes one for a TBI f-body, but they do make them for TBI trucks. I dont know what the difference is, or if it will work for you.

Your best bet would be to convert to Tuned Port and then get a TPI supercharger.

You can get a weiand supercharger and convert to carb but in my opinion i wouldent spend that kind of money on a 305, you can find a 350 for around 200 dollars just rebuild it and supercharge it. The cheapest weiand supercharger u can get is the 144 series blower for around 2 grand but you need to mod your engine to support the power and stock heads will just drag you down. You will end up with alot of money in a 305 that will only make 3/4 or half the power a 350 will make...
