Well.. what size tires did your car come w/? An IROC has 245's I believe..
275 "SHOULD" be ok, but I am unsure. I have stock 15's, and they take 215's originally.. I am gonna put 245's on them though, I am positive that will work. If 275's fit you car, which I believe they will, they will kinda bulge out of the rim, and the patch of tire touching the ground, and give it a kool look.

I have 15 inch rims on my car with 265 tires on the back and they fit fine, I actually just got them and only drove down the street until i got a hole in my oil pan, They fit niceley though, but i never hit any big bumps yet so i don't know if they will rub when i hit a bump. My freind has 295, but he has a nice torn up spot going around his tire from rubbing.

Anyone know what will fit up front with NO rubbing and 16" wheels? I've already got 245's, can I go bigger up front?

I like 15 inch rims better than 16, but my car had 245's in the front
on a 16 inch rim and it fit fine.
the front rims i just got are 15 x 4 1/2 with 195's.
Its a little skinny but i like the look. I have a pair of 205x15 that I may try to squeeze on them.
I really want a set of traction action bars and adjustable coil overs so i could fit 295's in the rear with no problems
and maybe one day a 12bolt posi so i can get traction from both tires instead on just one.

275/??/?? 16's? What tire exactly? What aspect ratio? 245's on a stock IROC 16X8" rim is as big as I'd go. It looks normal, handles good(is safe), and price wise it's cheapest probably.

I got a buddy who put 275/50/15's on his 15X7" rims...Looks terrible, handles like ***, rubs.. LOL!

I would honestly leave your stock size fronts on. I have 215's up front stock, and would leave it that way due to better handling than a larger tire, and keeping it safe.

i want to keep the 245's up front and 275's in the rear... just wanted to know for sure if they'd fit. anyone running 275's or something close to that on the stock 16'' iroc-z rims?

most tires have a specific sizing so figure out what you want to buy and it should tell you what the most ideal size for a 16x8 rim would be. Theres generally no need on street tires for something that wide unless youre going with a set of et streets or something.

Those tires don't fit those rims. That's a 17" tire and a 16" rim. Those tires fit of course but they need to be on a 17X8.5-17X9.5" rim. Goodluck! Going from 16's to 17's is an awesome step in handling. That size tire is probably the cheapest in a 17" also since it's popular on 4th gens also.
