it will be the same as you trying to get a drink of water out of a fire hose.It will surprise most people how far you can really go without changing injector size.you are fine where you are, with 24# FP would need to be so low at idle it would have crap for spray pattern.Im running #19 SVO injectors at 50 PSI and it does fine.

Your stock 19lbs injectors with the pressure about 46-48 lbs will be just fine. You only need bigger injectors if you're running a blower or nitrous. And usually with a bigger engine.

SVO Injectors are rated differently since Mustangs use a different Fuel Pressure.
Your 19# SVO's are actually running @ 22#'s.
I read this yesterday on one of our local boards.

I am agreeing with Zephyr. I also read an article about engine size affecting flow ratings.

Any given injector has many variables to consider.

1) Fuel pressure
2) BSFC (Brake Specific Fuel Consumption)
3) Volumetric Efficiency of the monster.

These three factors all relate to rated injector flow. Thats why we have injectors balanced and flow tested. We then get a printout of the actual flow vs. rpm vs. fuel pressure vs. cid.

But in answer to your ?
You need to stay with stock 19lb.

If you have one sticking or any leaking problems just switch over to stock (dare I say it?) Mustang injectors. Lidio over at Alternative Auto usually has a few sets laying around with less than a few thousand miles on them and will sell them relatively cheap (like garage sale prices!)
