what header gasket is recommended to use with the Hooker Super Comp 2210's with AFR aluminum heads?

On AFR's site..they say to use the FELPRO 1404's they look like just standard header gaskets...are those good enough?

 

do you have angled or straight plug heads?

 

I bought angle plug AFR's...I read your thread ...I have no clue which fit better as I havent recieved my heads yet...but alot of the guys with AFR's are using angle with the hooker 2210....

Angle plugs heads fit great with the 2210's. I have Dart, but angle plug is angle plug as far as I know. Good luck.

 

No gaskets! I used Red or copper RTV when using a good header like the hooker and a machined head surface like on an AFR or Dart. This is reccomended by many people and it saves time and money and headaches of leaking gaskets.
