200k Miles!
200k Miles!
My car clicked over to 200k miles today.. New crate 350 only has 20k on it, but other than that it's amazing how long this car has lasted, i've only had it for the past 40k but it's still amazing. About time for another tune up.... im gonna have to spend another vicious 8+ hours switching out the spark plugs ><
Re: 200k Miles!
Yea i went out and bought my car a birthday present... flowmaster exhaust, i've been wanting to get the muffler since i got the car but never got around to it... now it sounds like a beast

Re: 200k Miles!
199,900 on my wife's 92 Camaro with original 305 TBI engine. I yanked it and dropped in a much stronger carbureted 350 around 195K or so. The TBI motor was still running just peachy when I yanked it. Of course those little 305 TBI motors don't make enough power to hurt themselves.
The car STILL has the original 200K mile trans with stock converter in it, though. It needs a rebuild and shift kit, but still holds every gear and gets the car going good enough to run mid 13s so far.

Sounds like one of the most fun daily drivers a person could have.
