1988 z28 convertable rare?

how rare is a 1988 convertable carmaro? what would it be worth with no drivetrain? please help me with this....

Since they didnt make any z28 in 1988 its hard to say.
They did make Iroc-z in 88 & 3,761 of them were Convertables.

so they didnt make ANY z28 convertable's in 1988 the vin says it is??????? here is the vin let me know what you all think

how come the vin says it is a conv and the year is 1988???????????

In 1988 They no longer made the Z28 They drop the Z28 for the Irocz name.

Your car is a converable yes but its Not a Z its either a Iroc or a Sports Coupe

Go up & look at my first post please If its an Iroc they made3,761 Verts for that year. They also made 1,859 Verts for the Sports coupe.

so about how much is it worth. without the drive train, needs paint stuff like that? about how much could i get for it if i tryed to sell it?

with out the drive train I would say not much more than $1k if you are lucky. Right now Thirdgens are not worth alot. unless they are Really Really Rare like my brother in laws old 90 RS Vert. Or my 82 pace car (when its fixed up)

In '88 the IROC and theZ28(look at the dash plate) were one in the same,and if my memory serve me right the verts were farmed out to outside shops,until '89 when they were made in house. I'm sure if this info is wrong I'll hear about it,but pretty sure that is the senario.
