Based on weight of the car... low horsepower.... I'd say the car tops out around 125 or so??? I have no clue. Thats just a guess.

Exclamation

Depends, which one are you asking about? There were two available in 1982 for the Z28, the optional LU5 Cross-Fire injection (165 HP, high 15s in the 1/4) and the standard LG4 (150 HP, low 16s in the 1/4). The stadard Camaros and Berlinettas only could come with the LG4 as an option. Both are roughly capable of about 120 with the 4-speed (T5 was not yet available).

From personal experience, I think MrZ28's 1/4 mile times were a bit optimistic. I doubt that you'll see very many ceasefire cars running in the 15s, and I doubt that you'll see many LG4s below mid-high 16s. Under the right conditions, sure, but the majority of them (especially considering that they all have miles now!) won't be so fortunate. I've seen my fair share of good running TPI 305s unable to break out of the 16s on warm nights. Then there's always me with my 16 second modified L98, but that's another story.
