I have the pro kit, i also use kyb struts and shocks with new sway bar bushings. The car handles really awsome. I love to though it around corners. Im very glad i went with the pro kit instead of the sport lines.

if you want the lowest look go with the sportlines.....although be prepared to add a few other pieces to accomodate as well as an alignment.

i have the pro-kit and love it; i wish it was a little lower in back, but it works great.

understand that all stock springs usually are old and the car is already lowered to a close idea of what a pro-kit will do.

Cool

Hi guys

I am loooking forward to purchase those springs and hope winter won`t be that long. I asked the Salesman about the difference between original springs ( cuz of age ) and Eibach, he just told me it will be a visible difference, better to handle...

Anyway, hope to create a webpage asap to show everybody my baby ;-).

I was happy with my Eibach Pros, the front looked just about right with my 16x8 ROH Snypers and 245/50/16 tires but I could no longer slide a jack under the car and it had its share of problems on steep inclines, heres what that set up looked like 16x8 Fronts. Today I swapped the 17x9 SNypers I had in the rear and th 275/40/17s it has on them to make sure it fits before ordering another pair for the rear and let me tell you it makes all the difference in the world so far. I thought it wasnt going to fit at first and it does rub a touch when you lock out the steering wheel in either direction but its certainly liveable. After lowering the car off the jack after putting on the 17s the jack slid right out no problem and the test drive showed I gained some ground clearance back as it hardly bottoms out and doesnt anymore where it use to and the handling and feel seems to be alot better except on the hwy. where it likes to follow ruts with the wide tires. Now Im happy with the Pros and for me they are exactly what Im looking for any lower for me would be too much, heres a pic of the 17s in place 17x9 Fronts.

Lets see, I put the Sportlines on my 91 Z and the Pro Kit on my 87 GTA. In all honesty, I think the Pro Kit was a waste of money. It barely lowered the car at all, in fact, I think it sits the same in the back. It did even out the front, as it was sitting higher up front before the new springs. As for the camaro, I love the Sportlines. They lowered it just the right amount, it looks great, and I can still slide a jack under the pumpkin or the front A-arms.
You can see pics of each of them on my websites:

I have the Pro Kit in my GTA. I like it. It lowered the car about an inch from where it was supposed to sit stock ( I took a lot of weight off the front and it ended up sitting nose-high like QuickChick speaks of so it lowered the front of mine A LOT) and definately firmed up the ride. But I also ran my GTA on the road course and wouldn't mine a bit higher spring rate in the front..... Rides well on the street though and is extremely affordable in comparison to other types of spring setups.

Here is a pic:

Kind of hard to tell where the tire ends and the wheelwell starts in that pic, but you get the idea.

My girlfriend has the pro kit on her 86 IROC. Rides great, and I think the stance is perfect.

I have the Jamex springs on my car, and I'd say it sits about the same as the IROC. The front is a little lower, because when I swapped the springs I found my drivers side insulator didn't exist, so I left the pass. side out. Wouldn't even notice though. Anyway, that car handles every bit as good as the IROC. So whatever you can find a deal on...

I've heard alot of things good and bad, I have heard that to some the loweredness isn't as dependable as they say. I hear some get a 1 inch drop others get a 1.5 inch drop some say the front drops more than the rear and the exact opposite. I am spending alot of money to drop the weight of the front, and in turn am putting alittle more in the rear.. Bottle, battery, 1 sub and a amp, so the rear will be a little heavier. I don't want to buy some springs and have them not make my car sit how I want it to.. Does anyone have any ideas or comparisons?
