Need some help. The rubber exhaust hangers on my 82 (crossfire V8) rear muffler assembly are worn out... and I can't seem to find any replacement... original or aftermarket. Seems to me they look pretty similar to the ones on my 97... but it is hard to tell. Anyone have any ideas where I can get some new ones or is this going to be a salvage yard part? Thanks!

 

I think any auto-parts store (napa, autozone, car quest etc..) should have them. If not, call up a local exhaust shop and see how much they want for a few
I hack-sawed mine off years ago because they were being a b*tch. When I bought my new exhaust system, I was lucky that the person selling it to me gave me some hangers.

 

Unfortunately that is the problem... no one stocks them nor has the ability to order them.

 

Make one....

 

Huh now that's pretty damned weird I dont know what to tell you. Call up Jegs, I can almost guarantee you they will have one. Jegs has everything, dammit!
