I hope the subject says it all. When is the 6th Gen going to show up on dealer lots?

I fully intend to test drive a 6 cylinder as soon as I can. I'll make a decision based on that drive if I can live with 6 cylinder or should I think about a V8. Don't get me started about a 4 Cylinder.

The only other question I'm going to have is buy one now or wait a year and get the 2017 model. I'm like a lot of people: don't buy a new car during the first year. Wait for the kinks to be worked out the following model year. Then again, GM seems to be doing pretty good lately on new vehicles. Maybe this is just in my head?

 

I was just inquiring about this at my local dealer. They said they don't have a date yet. (or they haven't bothered to find out yet and that is their default answer)

 

I bet that question made the dealer nervous as can be. They know an awesome car is coming. They have to be concerned about getting rid of their existing stock. I bet several dealers, even if they know the answer, hold off on giving out that information as long as they can.

4th quarter begins October. So are we talking about these showing up in December? Jan - Feb perhaps?!
