This looks like the Camaro I've been waiting for. I'll need to see it in person and drive one before I know for sure, but I have a very good feeling about this.

Now I just need to figure out how to afford one.

 

This is one fantastic looking car. Do want! Hope the pricing is on point.

 

I was actually kicking around buying a used 2014 2SS. I held off until the reveal of the new Camaro. I'm not buying the used 2014 anymore.

I'm making plans to sell my blood to come up with extra money.

Was anything mentioned about pricing at all? I'm anticipating the pricing will stay the same. I am curious how the turbo 4 will figure into all of this though.

 

I'm amazed by the technology. Can't believe I can buy a 4 banger with the same horsepower (275) as my 1994 Trans Am. The V6 has more than my '02 Firewhawk! The V8, with 455 HP, makes me want it just because it's a nice vintage Pontiac number (in cubic inches).

Just may have to give this some serious thought and put the TA up for sale

I was thinking the same thing. The 6th Gen V6 is putting out 335 HP. The 4th Gen SS, which put out more HP than the Z28 at that time, put out 320 or so of HP in 2002.

I can't wait to see 0-60 times and such for these cars.

 

Nice.. now make it RHD and don't charge us an arm and leg GM and it's the next car in my driveway.

 

After a couple weeks of looking at pics of it, I've concluded that I like the current car better, in terms of aesthetics.
The 6th gen is nice (maybe 8 out of 10), but the 5th gen is nicer (10 out of 10).

The new one is just a little too soft for my liking and the quarter window and surrounding area is just goofy looking.
