SAE Article - 2019 LT5 Engine for ZR1
I know it's not a Camaro...... but this is good stuff!
Short, but interesting article on the 755 HP ZR1 engine. Great 3D graphic of the engine. I tried to upload it, but it's 16 MB. If you open it from the article, download and zoom in on it.... the detail is amazing.
A few quotes from the article:

A few quotes from the article:
When two muffler valves - one passive and one electronically controlled - open in the more aggressive driving modes, an 800-deg stream of exhaust trails the ZR1 with visible flames in low light conditions.
During high-speed testing on the German autobahn, engineers consumed an 18.5-gallon tank of fuel in 15 minutes of flat-out running.
A 215-mph limiter is included to protect the Michelin tires when conditions might allow exceeding that speed.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing.
Now, who wants to lend me $125k? Actually, I’m going to need a bunch of fuel and tires, a few weekends of performance driving school, as many open track days as I can find, a garage to park it in, and a whole buttload of insurance. So we’d better make it a cool half-mil.

Another good quote:

If the stock 755 hp isn’t quite sufficient, a $625 dealer-installed performance air intake system (engineered to fit all current Corvettes) adds 17 hp.
