wrong wheels equals poor handling
There is a phrase that you get what you pay for, and in the wheel market is can apply very well in a lot of cases. We see guys spending major $$ on engine upgrades and then buy wheels that do not fit, are weak, and are too heavy, which will not complement the hp gains. Here is an example of what you can get:
Now this customer wants to lower his Camaro, but the offsets are off so much, that you cannot lower it at all; thus you are stuck with oe heights and all the issues related to the highboy heights and undersprung coils.
Now I have no idea what brand of wheels or sizes. This info was given to me by one of our dealers making an inquiry if we can drop the Camaro.
Classic example where bling does not equal performance
So just a heads up.
