The brackets on the side are 1/2" seamless steel tubing and the center price is temperd aluminum. It took me over a week talking with GM before they told me it would not mess with my warrenty.

why did you need to find out from gm if it would mess with the warranty?

Because you have to drill holes in the towers to mount any of the strut braces on this car.
