Re: scracthed wheel

Yes, it should be able to. Find a custom paint and body shop in your area and they might be able to take care of it. I had a small curb chunk in one of my wheels and my speed parts installer managed to make it disappear with a few files and some Mothers polish. I don't know exactly what method he used (I couldn't watch him do it, I was too nervous), but it can be done. This was on a polished rim of a Forgeline wheel.

Re: scracthed wheel

yes they can be sanded down and re polished. theres alot of wheel companies that do that. might even be able to do it at the dealership. check the back of magazines like car and driver, automobile, and road and track. theres an add in the back for a company that refinishes wheels.

Re: scratched wheel

I did it to my Smoothie IIs.........very difficult process to your wallet if you mess it up. You can do it yourself for under $100 depending on your nerves. A round metal file, flat metal file, progressively finer sand paper (lots of wet sanding), buffing mandrels, Trilopi compound and White Rouge (from Eastwood) and you can get it done in a few hours.
