Pics with the 18 inch rims?

I am going to be getting an LT1/RS, and I really don't see any advantage to having 20 inch rims. They're heavy and they don't help handling. 18's are plenty big for me, and they're offered as a no cost option with the package.

Are there any pictures of these rims? Preferably on the car? If not can somebody do a quick photoshop?

I don't think any have been released and I don't have the time for the Photoshop job myself, but if someone wants to the pic is here:

Cool thanks. Do we know the tire sizes? Mostly I'm interested in whether the overall diameter of the tire/wheel is the same for the 20's as for the 18's. I love the stance with the 20's, and the way the wheel wells are filled, but I don't want the huge rims.

Awesome, so total diameter is the same on all of them! Excellent.

I know it's pure Speculation(but still fun) but does anyone think the new Nitto NT05 in 315/35ZR20 will fit on the back?

Funny you should ask...

As you might know, CamaroZ28.Com has a great relationship with Nitto Tire. Also as mentioned in my blog, my next Camaro will be in their display at SEMA 2009, wearing a set of NT05s. It is absolutely a killer tire, we were looking it over thoroughly at SEMA 2008. As far as that size goes, I dunno yet but one thing is for sure...they will have a size that fits. They designed it with the Camaro (among other applications, of course) in mind.

The 20 part is fine, of course. However, the width is clearly the issue and since no one knows the exact size of the allowable wheels and well clearance, it is up in the air. Soon there should be a measuring session where the data will become available, which I hope to get some data from so I know what I can run myself.
