All I can say is...THESE WHEELS ARE AWESOME! I love these new wheels. just picked them up from Forgeline yesterday. Much closer drive to Dayton than Miami. super light wheels. 20x10 front with a Nitto NT05 275/40/20 and 20x11 rear with 315/35/20. cant wait to get this car out to drive now. Thanks to David at Forgline. he really hooked me up and took care of me. He even mounted my tires for me. great guy....Special thanks to Jason Debler(JasonD) at camaroz28.com for the hookup!

Yep...it was a tough decision not to go to NEOCC but LS Fest was calling my name this year.

You are going to Mid-Ohio next weekend, right?

 

when i got to forgline, dave was in the back mounting and balancing tires! very cool guy. showed me his camaro. i love his ga3 wheels he uses for track time. if this holley ls fest is going to be the same time as the NEOCC show, im going there next year. sounds like a fun show. yes i will be going to mid ohio for the race next weekend. are you interested in doing the track day at mid ohio this year? october 3rd. its a monday i believe. fun time.

 

I hope LS Fest isn't always the same weekend...tough decision.

Looks good. Throw some tire shine on there and you have a winner. I'll bet they ride nicer.

A warning about those NT05s...they are not great in wet or on cold surfaces. They also have some road noise...but when they perform...they perform well!

 

havent drove it yet. but ill let you know after i do. i dont drive much in the rain, so that shouldnt be an issue. tire shine will come...i just put them on last night, give me some time lol

 

So how did you go about getting these directly from Forgeline? Did you find it to be a more pleasant transaction than going with one of the dealers on Camaro5? Im ready to pull the trigger and have quotes from 2 vendors on Camaro 5 but the fitment advice seems to differ and that worries me.

Just got back from LS Fest and replied to your PM.

 

Not to get on the subject of camaro5, but I've only bought 1 thing from vendors on that site and its because they don't advertise on any other sites. Speedware motorsports. I got a harness bar. Other than that id rather go directly to the manufacturer than through one if their vendors. Id rather go through a local speed shop than them. But yes. Great transaction with the company directly. Its nice to hear from the owner how the transaction is going rather than through a middle man
