Camaro rack and pinion

Is the rack and pinion in the new Camaro compatible or swapable with any other GM performance vehicle, say the Corvette or CTS-V? I'm wondering if either of the steering racks in those cars is a shorter ratio steering setup than the Camaro, and would it be feasable to swap one of those into the Camaro?

I just got done reading Road and Track's review and one of their complaints, which other reviews have mentioned too, is that the steering isn't responsive enough but the handling and overall suspension sophistication help mask this issue. Their data charts are half the reason I buy their magazine, but they pointed out the ratio for the Camaro steering is 16.1:1. Maybe 14:1 would be a better ratio. Also Jason the listed ground clearance is 6.5 inches, which just screams to have the car lowered!

Don't be too surprised if you see the steering box change in the next couple of years. GM made a change in the 2008? Corvette to improve the steering when they did several other updates on the car so they have a history of addressing issues like this.
