damn, only 1 new thread in the past 6 months? what's wrong with this board??

Anyway, there's a big stink about this 2nd gear grind thing on the manuals, there vids on youtube

my v6 shifts great, what i'm trying to figure out is, is this problem only with the SS? The LS/V6 is good right?

 

I'll let some with experience chime in, but if it becomes a common issue, they will release a TSB for it.

My question is did this just start surfacing recently?

 

Different transmissions between the two. The SS has a Tremec and the V6 has an Aisin-Warner.
