My God this would rock so hard, but seems like an impossible dream...

i can believe this. LS3 as a base V8, and a DI V6. Sounds like the logical powerplants to use in the next gen Camaro, and i dont see what would stop these engines from moving into this car.

Corvette is the Flagship, and has gone sky-high in horsepower with the LS9, so whats the stop the people at GM from using a little old LS3 for the base V8 Camaro.

Oh. I've seen my share...for instance - I was the ONLY person in the room that laughed at the Audi R8 commercial during the Superbowl.

But you know when somethin' catches you off-guard and goes right over your head?

I get it now. Too slow...but I get it. Desert.."hot weather testing"...bodies. Gotcha.

So if it is/was a "leak", and it was "taken care of". One is to assume that this was true info and someone has been punished for "leaking" said info. Which would then lead to me owning a 400+ HP Camaro. Which in turn would cause me to be in the market for new tires and a credit card dedicated to gas purchases.

Since so much about the car is already known, IF they know what engines they are going to use, i don't know why they don't say so. If it is the LS3, and the DI V6, those are great engines. And they DI V6 sure beats Ford's base engine.

No reason to let anybody (i.e. competitors) know anything until the last possible second. That way there's less time to alter strategy, which increases chances of competitor failure. And who's to say that they're 100% DONE with everything...

I don't want to know anything, yet. Call me crazy - but I like surprises. In Sept, it will all hit us so fast, and hard - we'll be crawling over each other to get into one of these cars next year. Ahhhhhh....I can't wait. (but I can)
