Re: Horn and Programer

Why would you want to change the horn? I believe you need to remove the front clip to get at it.

To do so, jack the front up, remove the front wheels. Remove the screws and fasteners that hold the inner black plastic fenderwell into place. If you look up and deep inside by where the front clip meets the front fender, you will see the nuts that need to be removed. There is also a screw and a nuts by the turn signal that needs to be removed as well. You also need to remove the bolts and fasteners under the hood that hold the front clip on. Once all the fasteners are off, the entire front clip comes straight off...there are pins that guide it out (and in when you reinstall it). There is a harness connector on the passenger side that needs to be disconnected that you cannot see until you start to slide the clip off.

As far as programmers, you would be better off getting a dyno tune, they get more power and are tailor-made to your car. Do you have a speed shop in your area?

Re: Horn and Programer

Thx I will, and I probably won't change the horn, I thought I would be easier. When I get it tuned will it remove the speed and rev limiter?

Re: Horn and Programer

Depends on the tuner, but they typically can.

No, I believe it is behind the entire front bumper ("clip"). You have to remove the entire thing to get to the horn.
