Dumb question:
#3
- There are 16.387 cubic centimeters (cm^3) to a cubic inch (in^3).
- 1 liter is 1,000 cubic centimeters.
- A 6.2 liter engine is 6,200 cubic centimeters. (6.2 x 1,000)
- 6,200 cubic centimeters divided by 16.387 cubic centimeters = 378.34 cubic inches.
(If the conversion is set up correctly the units will cancel, leaving you with the expected remaining units. I've omitted the units canceling exercise in this response.)
- The ratio is roughly 16.4 to 1.
