Z28 or Z/28

I'm just curious what others think.

I personally don't think the Z/28 looks right. That / just breaks up the name to me. It's like Z with 28 or something.

I don't know how to explain it.

It's like the old Camaro's that had 'Camaro' in cursive script. I don't think that fits the sports car image like the stylized letters CAMARO do.

Z/28 is the way to go, nothing says I like the 80's like Z28

Re: Z28 or Z/28

keep it real. make it a z/28.

z28 are probably the people without glasses who can't see the slash.

I really don't care either way. GM had better make the badging something more exciting than it was on the 4th gen cars though.

Things must REALLY have gotten dull around here.

Hmm, no option for "Who gives a crap?"

My question is, did the option code have a slash?

Which is still 20 years ahead of the 60's z/28 image

The nice flush Z28 looks better on a 3rd gen then the cheap 3d plasitc z28 on a 4th gen. Z/28 would look gay on either one.
A nice flush painted on or decal Z28 would probably look the best on the new one.

I'm not sure I'd want painted on or decal. But the inset in the GFX behind the front wheels of the 3rd Gen were my favorite.

The '3D' as you call it from the 4th Gen would look really good on the new Camaro if they used Brushed Nickel or something rather than plastic.

I agree with the Z/28 just looking too old though. Z28 is far more clean and streamlined. More 'modern' if you will. Why break up the cars name with a silly '/'?

Sorry, just a stickler for small details here...
