Well, from the looks of it. The car will be used as the pace car for the Indy 500 in 2011. That would be a wonderful to see the coupe AND convertible at the same time with a Z28 badge driving around the track.

Not really diggin' the wheels. And I like the CTS-V much more so far.

Do you think the Z28 will get that new back end on the yellow convertible we saw a few weeks ago in the spy video?

It's not a production car. Don't assume the wheels are final -- in fact, they're almost certainly not final.

You're thinking of the 6th gen.

EDIT: I like how Priddy watermarks their pics, because it is THEIR work, and then Camaro5 adds their own watermarks.

And hopefully they put on some form of fender flaps too, because those tires are going to destroy the sections of fenders and quarter panels without any.

The wheels are ccw wheels . The same design wheel in black or machined has been on most of gm's hi-po mules for the last few years from vettes to camaros to G8's .

Since 1967 this is the first visual evidence of a factory supercharged engine under the hood of a Camaro.

Personal complaints aside I think this car with the heart and setup of a CTS-V will be quite a potent machine.

No.

Z28 is a higher performance version of the Camaro, not an entirely new car (let alone platform).

The 2011 Indianapolis pace car has not been announced yet. When we get closer, we'll know for sure.

Post up the pics again, especially if they are posted elsewhere on the internet.
