Looking at the picture, it's pretty clearly not that. I think Doug Harden is onto something.

Regular projectors are usually either low or high beam. You usually see cars with a low beam projector and high beam halogen. You cant do that with the Camaro seeing as both functions need to be in the same unit.

Bi-xenon (or if these are bi-halogen (if those exist)) projectors have a little door in them which allows them to switch between high and low beams.

The 5 LED looking things just look like styling in the plastic.

Awesome. Love it, I wish my financial situation was different so I could buy one of the first ones off the lot.

That being said, I don't think i'm going to be afraid of them given the weight/hp. My 02Z28 will run with it...

Thanks for the info. But what about the LED looking things around the headlights? Any ideas?

The button with the little gauge is usually the cruise control set function. Not sure what the set on the stalk is for.

I'm pretty sure the "rocker ****" on the left side of the wheel is marked RES / + and SET / -. Next to that are the cruise enable button (the one that looks like a speedo with an arrow) and a God-intended cancel button!! No more having to tap the damn brakes to cancel cruise.

The stalk is not cruise, apparently. That could be for setting / clearing info on the DIC between the speedo and tach.

Why is the speedo calibrated in KPH? Dadgum Canucks.....Of course, as in my C5, a simple button switches it to MPH...

There in the DIC I see. along the bottom...numbers "585858" that appear to be Long/Lat and the direction as "NW"......could it be built in NAV??? And the buttons I mentioned above be the controls for the NAV????

I would think it's like the vette and the same speedo can be changed to MPH and a Km/H would turn off. The only thing I see is the number "4" on the gauges and possibly "active fuel economy" which would mean DOD for the 6 aswell? 35= MPG's !!!!!!!!!

I say again:

We're probably looking at a V6 car.

The redline on the DI 3.6 CTS is also just a hair under 7k, same as it appears in these photos.

The redline on the LS3 Corvette is 6600. I highly doubt we'll see anything different on Camaro. If it is different, it'll be lower, not higher.

PS....the emergency brake lever looks spindly and cheap......and an afterthought...too bad we didn't get a better integrated one, ala the G8....
