Question Will the Camaro Annoucement be on the air?

Just curious and I didnt see anywhere (if it was then I over looked it). Because I will be stuck here in BG, KY tomorrow; is there a chance that there will be live feed from/for this announcement? I would really like to be there but I will take what I can get. Thanks in advance, oh and if this has already been stated then mods please delete. Thanks, Darrell

Re: Will the Camaro Annoucement be on the air?

I'm guessing it might be carried on an internet site or 2, but it isn't going to be on television till the evening news. Remember, this is a regular speach to members of an automotive trade group that is likely to include a mention of Camaro's production status, NOT the glorious, part-the-clouds, all news channels to carry live, public-stopping, Camaro news conference alot of people here are starting to make this out as.

Bob Lutz gave a speach and later answered questions at the Geneva Auto show, where he mentioned that the GTO & the Buick Roadmaster was a go for 2008 (and still somehow, most enthuiasts either refused to believe it till an "Official Announcement", or missed it entirely) and it just ended up in the business-automotive section of the paper.

I expect this to be done pretty much the same way, but with more sustained intrest only because the public hasn't seen the new GTO, but they have seen the Camaro (and the gathering in Detroit is probally going to give an exclimation mark to whatever is confirmed).

I'll bet if Mel Gibson or Cindy Sheehan were making the announcment it would be televised.
