Hey Brandon ^ that makes 3 websites I can now think of that we visit regularly

I heard the whole plan might get scrapped also.. 
My friends uncle who works at the GM Tech Center told him this. Then their might be a possibility the project might be sent to Australia to the same people who designed the GTO body.
That would not be good. I do not think their is an actual concept made yet.

.The LS2 uses the early 01 LS6 cam, it's smaller than the later 405hp. The proof is in the pudding, LS2 GTOs don't dyno that impressively, averaging only 335 or so. They also don't run that well on the track due to torque management.
But swap cams and get a tune and who wouldn't rather have 18ci and Ls6 heads from the factory. Then again, i bought some CNC'd LS6 heads cheap enough that i'd gladly trade 18ci for a throttle cable that doesn't fail like the gas pedals in 05s
