What about t-tops

Do you think they can fit? They would be huge wouldn't they?

I don't think they're going to look right on the car, as much as I hate to say it.

I think you're going to be looking at either a hardtop, or a drop top (down the road) as your two choices.

Gm would be nuts not to offer Targa/t-tops on a new Camaro, they bring in massive cash.

I like the targa top idea. That would look better than t-tops i would say.

I don't think a targa top is out of the question.

Soneone should photoshop that.

Targa would work. Glass t-tops, no.

100% agree. Targa is OK with me, too.

I usually hate to be a "me-too"-guy, but in this case I'm happy to be one.

T-tops wouldn't look good on that, so targa would be sufficient for me. But with the hardtop design, targa might be quite hard to do, though...

Re: What about t-tops

I used to be very much against T-tops. My '94 has them and I actually like them. That being said, I live in NW Ohio, so the number of days when I can actually take them out is quite limited. When it comes time to order a 5th gen, I won't be getting T-tops unless they are somehow part of some other package that has all the other options I want.

The same old stigma that has applied to T-tops all along is still (from my experience) true today. No matter how well engineered it's always a matter of when, not if they will leak.

Of course, I do believe they should be an option. For those that want them, I think they should have the option of getting them. They have been a staple of the Camaro for quite a while and I think that should continue.

Only the first ~10 years DIDN'T have them, then the last 25 DID have them. T-tops belong on the Camaro. I'll agree that with the new design, they may look a little awkward at first, but I think they'll fit. Just think about the mid-80's Monte Carlos ... they were a "boxier" style car, but they had T-tops and looked good .

I owned a '90 with t-tops. Never leaked once. Not a drop. The car was in a wreck too. I had it for 11 years.

I owned an '02 SS with t-tops. It didn't leak either.

And by the way, I live in Portland, Oregon....we know rain.

I'd say that t-tops are a must. They've been a staple option since what, the mid 70s?
