Things I Like About the 2010 Camaro

There are many threads with gripes about the Camaro. Heck even many threads that start off as positive end up with someone airing their various gripes about the car. I would like to start a thread that talks about all of the things that the folks at GM got right on this car. Here is my list:

-Exterior styling, Love what they have done, nice blend of old and new

-LS3, I have driven this engine in the Corvette and have to say I prefer it over the LS2 and LS1. This is a great choice.

-Brembo Brakes, One of the best things you can do for a car is give it great brakes, Brembo are world class.

-Wheels that range in size from 18" to 20" . I like having some options on wheel size.

-Pirelli and BFG tires[/B]. Two good choices and much better than going back to Goodyear for a cheap OEM tire.

-HID Headlights, love to drive at night with HID lights, makes a big difference.

-Great interior, GM did a great job of taking the most interesting elements from the concept and created a great interior. It think it will be a long time before we will see another car at the price point of the Camaro with such nice interior. The fact that they did not just pull swithches and buttons from the storage room means a whole lot to me.

-Bluetooth, great technology

-Boston Acoustics, great technology

-USB interface for Ipod, great technology

-HUD, what can I say, I love HUD

This is my list so far. Please list what you love. Leave the hate for another thread please.

Like your list, especially because you have seen it in person.

I love the styling inside and out. It looks absolutely amazing! I love how it's retro, but modern enough that it stands on it's own. I'm very happy that it went to IRS and the RS appearance package will be available. The content with the RS package sounds great and I'll definitely order it when I get mine. The LS3 is a huge plus to me, even though I'm holding out until there is more info regarding a Z/28 model. Brembo's are also a big plus in my book. Just looking at the specs on paper, I'm really excited about how it will perform. And after reading the reviews of the V6 by Motortrend, Car And Driver, etc. I'm even more excited about the SS. I'm also very happy with the amount of time and evaluation GM has put into the new Camaro. I really feel like they did their homework and truly wanted this to be worthy of the name "Camaro".

I believe that 21" wheels are available as well.

I love the styling, the indentation in the roof, the console gauges, HUD, the extra safety features over my 4th gen. The people that constantly complain about weight will be the first to come in here and thank god they are alive after they wreck it. The Vette might be 600lb's lighter but I'll be glad I have that extra weight and structural support when some dumbass pulls out in front of me. Been hit in a 4th gen and they don't hold up well.
