Lightbulb Rear window?

So since they have announced the Convertible model for the Camaro, does that mean that they will have the rear quarter windows with it? I couldnt really tell if it was gunna have them from the picture or the description following it. Any answers?

No, it is not an indication if it will or will not. Like the silver coupe, it is still a concept at this point.

I hope they put a glass window in the vert and not a cheap plastic one.

Look carefully at this picture of the concept.

Looks to me like at least the interior panels indicate the rear quarters are still in the equation.

P.S. This one is even better evidence...

Right...for the CONCEPT. If it had a JATO rocket on it as well, it wouldn't mean the production version is getting one.

Would be cool, though.

Well IMHO the convertible concept is perfect. I hope they don't change a thing. I know that's not likely so I'll hope for 90% of what we see here.

Considering the HUGE blind spot is one of the big complaints about the 4th gen 'vert, ... IIRC the reason Scott wouldn't let his Mom have one .... rollover protection is the reason they are talking about a pillar in the coupe and the Mustang has rear quarter windows on the 'vert, I'd say it's a pretty safe bet that we'll see glass there.
