Does anyone have the rear shot of the autoweek convertable readily available? Unless I missed it in another thread. It looks pretty awesome from the rear also.

Whatever, here's a pic of the magazine. Maybe someone can scan in a better one or it'll pop up somewhere on the internet.

I've saw it around on the net. It's a good looking car. I'm going to consider the convertible when they come out.

When the 2009 comes out I can only hope it is sooooo expensive that it won't tempt me to sell my '02 Z-28 convertible

I dont know about the rest of you, but to me the convertible pictured above looks a little narrower between the tail lights than the concept, resulting in an overall narrower car. It looks like the bumper is less angular just below the license plate as well.

You're right, it does look that way. But seeing as these also seem to be photoshops (two different side-view mirrors, one has tall rear seat head rests one doesnt...) we'll probably have to wait until the autoshow to see for sure.

Well, IIRC, the concept is very wide, so the production car likely will be a bit narrower. To be honest, I kinda like it better. It looks more "normal"

IDK...Tracy has a good point with that pic... I definitely don't like the back of the convertible car up there for some reason....hopefully it's a bad chop and not as narrow as they would make it.. just the way it looks (the rear shot), it appears less narrow as said before, and flatter/less change of angle near the center rear... of course they're just chops being compared to concept pics though, soo....we'll see soon enough anyway!

What? BASE model 'vert over 45k? (doubt it).....I don't know much about 'verts because I don't like them...but that seems steep - especially since the 'vert would have the potential to make sales that would otherwise not exist..

Unless the 45k is suggesting it's going to be a nice hardtop 'vert!...I might actually consider one then....
