True! But that's exactly what I did.
I've been a GM guy forever, but I had to be objective.
I sold my 30th anniversay car last fall (after 11 years) to buy a new Camaro and ended up buying an 07 GT500 with 2000 miles in March for $34,000.
They were about the same weight, they were the same price, the GT500 has a blower motor built for boost, a solid 8.8 rear and bolt-on mods make crazy power.
I'm 34 and make OK money for my area.(but I had saved a lot to keep the payment lower)
I really wanted a new Camaro but when I could get the parts that I wished the Camaro had for the same money on the GT500......

With LCA, CAI and canned tune, I'm running 12.5 @116 on a 2.13 60' with factory rubber.
