and doing quite well for someone new to circle track racing. A renewed Trans Am series, based on production cars with stock motors, stock suspension. Not a NASCAR appearance of a street car, but a stock car, like trans am (to my knowledge) was in its glory during the late 60's. Not only would it be a great showcase for the new muscle cars, Ford GM Dodge ect, but it would force them to create awesome packages for sale on the street like the 1st gen Z/28 was, and the Boss 302. Buy at the dealership what you actually see racing on the weekend.

Trans Am would have to have TV coverage for the masses. Speed Vision is great, I love it but most people don't have it, so it wouldn't do much good to advertise in a series no one really sees. Im talking about getting ESPN, ABC, NBC, FOX, ect to cover the races, like they're doing with limited ALMS races.

I love NASCAR, but there is more to life than ovals.

Oh, and how great would it be to kill Toyota's glory entering NASCAR when the big 3 are racing each other in real street cars, real muscle cars that toyota just doesnt have.
