not that. this... Ke Mai Luo. there is no meaning to it. its just letters put together to sound like camaro. what is wrong with actually keeping the car called the CAMARO? they cant learn to say it?

 

American culture does not translate to the entire world. Wal-mart has had to adapt to each foreign market. They are not the same big box retailers in South America or Germany. They advertise differently -- marketing. So let GM market it to China how they desire while hopefully subsidizing American sales

Again - words do not always translate nor is it easy for some cultures to speak english.......

Keep in mind that the Chinese do not use 26 letters in their alphabet - so you cannot 'write' the word "Camaro" in Chinese..........


Here's a thought: They love the car and want to buy it - let's celebrate that fact.

Ke Mai Luo sonds like "que malo"(to bad) or "quémalo" (burn it) in spanish,..

 

 

Are there any supporting vendors that can make "Ke Mai Luo" lettering? I want to make that my next mod.

I don't understand what all the fuss is about. How will what a car is called in China effect the US customer? I hope they sell more Ke Mai Luo's in China than they sell Camaro's in the US!

 

i wont effect the customer. my whole fuss is that the whole camaro team is so dedicated to the car and the CAMARO name, but the cars not being called that. its being called a made up word. but we already discussed this and now its done.
