A good while ago I was told of 2 V6 engines and one was over 300 HP [I was quoted 320 HP] This was before the CTS arrived with the DI engine. The 300+ V6 sounded like a wild dream.
I also was clued in that the 500+ Z/28 was going to be the top dog and the SS was going for over 400 HP this was before the Supercharged CTSV and the LS3 were introduced. 500 HP sounded like another wild story till the ZR-1 came around.

I just want to see the top model for less than 40k, with enough power to take anything in its class, and Chevy to punish the dealers somehow for selling them more than MSRP for the first year. Loyalty incentives would be nice!

It was so false, that I think GM may have leaked that info to a media outlet that has repeatedly offered heaps of false info. That way the competition turns its head, while GM flexes its real muscles.
