Newbie- Trying to buy a new/used camaro

Whats up guys, We are trying to buy my wife a 2010 or 2011 v6 camaro so I'm just looking around at info. I'm a lil confused at the dealers around me. We wanted a used 2010 v6 camaro automatic with decent miles, for some reason every dealer is selling used camaros with 7-30k miles for the same price as new. I went by a new dealer and was basically told there is no haggle room on the new 2011 v6 camaros as they do not stay on the lot longer then 7 days max. Are these used camaros actually selling for these prices? I find it hard to believe people are paying $22k for a car a year old with 15k miles that you can get new for $24,500. I've been out of the Camaro game for awhile, I use to have a 2001 camaro about 7/8 years ago that I did car shows with but I have a cadillac cts now.

Yeah I've kinda debated the idea of a 1LT (though I'd want manual) for a daily driver and the used market is pretty bad for buyers. Since they are so new and popular, people are asking quite a bit for them. I'd give it a year or so and you'll start seeing them come down in price.

I am not sure where you are located but you might consider checking with Eric at classic chevrolet in Dallas, Becky or Jim Rigsby at Connell Chevy in Killeen. They are both stand up dealerships with alot of rep in the 5th Gen Camaro Community.

You should be able to find a NEW one for at least sticker or less. I am a credit union member and ordered my car (2011 SS), and got "preferred pricing" about 900 under sticker. best bet is to take your time. might want to contact Camaro Scotty, he does do out of state delivery from what i can remember. Good Luck!
