It was a protect ant they put on the leather and on the car body that protects it from tree sap, bird crap, rail road dust if you park by a rail yard. As for the leathers protect ant spills wont sink into the leather.
It's pretty nice the water just sits on the car I have to take it in to the dealer Monday because I noticed swirls after I hand washed the car. I called and asked about it they said to bring it in because I shouldn't have swirls in my paint if that's on the car.

that shouldnt keep from getting swirls. all it is is a paint sealant. that just keeps the color from fading over time. also just another thing to make the customer feel good. its not really any better than a sealant you could have put on by yourself.
