just looking back at the pace cars for the Indy500

looks like GM started doing odd paint schemes with the 1993 camaro. I personally didn't like that paint scheme while other did. before then they were pretty much just a car of the showroom floor with "official pace car" on the side

This 2010 Camaro needs to stand a part from the others and not be drawn into that "lets bring back the 60's" look. This is a modern car, with modern looks, and modern power.
Maybe when a convertible is available they can do one for nostalgia reasons, but for the first time around with the 5th gen, im glad it stands out from the rest.
