Hennessey Twin Turbo Camaro ZL1

I think this could be done with supercharger unit with a few mods.

10.6574 in the quarter-mile with a 135.38 MPH trap speed

I agree, it seems like a lot of work to pick up 1.0 to 1.5 seconds in the 1/4 mile. Put headers, some basic bolt-ons, and some tire on a stock ZL1 and you could probably get close to that.

Interesting to note that in 1999, George Baxter ran 9.05 @ 156 MPH in his 97 30th SS convertible, with a 383ci LT1 and a Vortech S/C. The car weighed over 3,800#, and could be street driven very comfortably. The LT1 made 1,125 HP at the flywheel. Had valid NJ license plates, and an inspection sticker.
