While I'll never actually buy a Mustang, I do have to admit I actually found one that caught my eye yesterday. That's never happened before. I even pulled up into the parking lot to check it out. Unfortunately there was no price displayed so I have no idea what it's selling for.

It was sitting out front of my local Ford dealer. A used Silver 2005 Saleen Mustang. I wouldn't be embarassed if it was sitting in my driveway... As long as my new Z28 was sitting in the garage.

If ALL Mustangs (or at least the GT) looked like that, my opinion on their boring looks (the front looks like a sad face to me) would definitely change.

Anything looks when you have a 2005 Aveo LT Sedan; sorry man wait for the Z. Saleen are too pricey and overrated.

LOL That is true.

As I said, I would never buy it. It just looked nice.

Don't worry, I'd wait 10 years for a Z28 before I bought a Mustang.

I'd never hear the end of it from everyone I know if I actually got a Mustang after all the years of being very vocal in my dislike of them...

Don't worry your Camaro is going to be built and won't be that long

Re: GTO a GO, and promising Camaro hints

I like both GM and Ford, and the new Camaro highly. I do however own a Mustang GT with 360 h.p. and 400 t.q. and it's a great car to drive. I have alot of friends with T/A's,Camaro's and plenty with Mustang's. I was going to buy a Camaro, but the aftermarket wasen't as big. BTW the new 2009 Mustang will be very bold like the Camaro concept and it will have over 350 h.p. and t.q. for the GT, better interior design and quality and will be out by 2008. Anyhow i'd take any GTO,Mustang,Camaro or T/A over a ricer anyday. Keep the Muscle Car spirit alive!!!

Re: GTO a GO, and promising Camaro hints

I've been buying new F-Bodies since 1985 . . . But the new Mustang GT ragtop has a lot of curb appeal. The new Camaro won't be on the street until 2009, they say.
