Okay,
So I will readily admit I didn't read through all the comments, so forgive me if I am repeating something that somebody has already mentioned.
But here are my few thoughts.
As for advertising the camaro, I was wondering about Chevy sponsoring a Drift car. I know there is a Solstice out there, and I have seen one guy running a 69 Camaro in the series.
But it is loud, fast, lots of tire smoke, and popular with the "kids these days"
Just wondering if there were any plans to get the Camaro into motorsports.
There is no longer a Trans-Am series, but there used to be an IROC Camaro bodied car used for the IROC series.... That would be pretty cool to see.
Which also leads into my next two questions.
Is there any plans for special packages other than the SS, like an IROC version.
And as for special versions, the convertible just screams to me to have a heritage version with a special Hugger stripes and interior color combo.
And lastly, if you are going to do a Hugger Heritage style edition, why not use the car and get some pace car spots.
You know, the Daytona 500 pace Car, Indy Pace Car, Brickyard 400 Pace Car. All those limited edition option cars.
Plus that helps to get the word out there where lots of people can see the car.
So I guess they all tie together.
Just my thoughts.

Offer a dual exhaust option (1 into 2) for the 6 cylinder. Nothing worse than seeing a dressed up car that looks fast and then see one tailpipe out the back.

i have to agree with all of the comments about the interior. thats a make it or break it thing with my girlfriend and a lot of people i know. it has to be high quality.
i also dont care for the reverse light location. there are many places those things can be put that will make it look a lot better.

Offer "heritage" colors that are limited to one year only as you did with Hugger Orange in 1999 on the Camaro. This creates exclusivity without any out of the ordinary cost. Offer one color from 67, 68 & 69 every year. For example, in the first year you would offer Tahoe Turqoise, Emerald Green and Cortez Silver.

1LE, or at least a dealership willing to sell B4c's to the public. The stuff that was deemed too "track" oriented from the SS development.
#187
This is a little selfish, but get some white bodies to racers. I would love to retire my 3rd gen 1LE from the NASA Camaro-Mustang Challenge and campaign a 5th gen

I agree, but from what we've seen on the mules so far, it looks promising to me that they will all have dual exhausts at least optional.

Now that we've seen some shots of a closer-to-production interior (and I assume that's the car they'll be showing you), I'm curious to get your impressions of the interior from an ergonomics/comfort standpoint. Also, do those radio/hvac controls or whatever they are seem as boob-like in person as they do in pictures?

Turn signal switch should feel more positive than how it feels in ALL 4 previous generation Camaros. Every time you use it, it feels like it's about to break before it "clicks" into the position. Use any German car for an ideal feel.

in before the lock lol....
1. D80 Spoiler Option
2. Artic White Color Choice
3. Any color interior available with any color car, i HATE it when you have to get tan or carmel colored interior just to get a white car. White with charcoal interior? Sign me up.
4. No skip shift, its just going to get eliminated anyways, gm save yourself some money.
5. Decent shifter throw from the factory, if i wanted a row boat id buy one.
6. Decent rubber from the factory, 400hp deserves a good z rated summer tire.
7. traction control available on even the base models please.
8. Projector HID headlights please.
9. NO RUN FLATS
None of those are deal breakers because if i have to own a hot pink v6 convertble automatic, i will be buying an 09.
