Going back for another Camaro focus group! PROVIDE YOUR INPUT!

I thought of another thing when I saw the family photo that Scott posted. I would like to see the outside mirrors be body color. They did the black mirror thing on the Camaros before and changed it over to body color.

I would undoubtedly consider a Camaro hybrid if it offered the kind of real world gain that the Vue does.

As most have said, no cheap plastic on the inside. Even on my Escalade it has cheap plastic parts, and cars were costing half the price produced years before have better interiors. This was taken care of on the new Escalades, now take care of it on all GM cars, please.
Body colored mirrors, door handles, etc. If i buy a certain color, I want the whole car to be that color, I don't want certain black tidbits here and there.

I like what I have seen of it so far. If it fits me and drives and feels as good as it looks it will be a great car. I hope I can afford to drive one to work every day.

Optional rear axle ratios - range from 2.73 to 3.73 -give people a choice of getting a tad better mileage from the factory or give an edge to the weekend racer who'd prefer a little more sack out of the hole.

I'm loving the car, but there are some things they should look into.
- A couple of people I know already have said that the current interior is not appealing. I believe most people want a modern interior with all the gadgets available to them. And make it with quality interior parts.
- GM needs to offer their own performance upgrades right from the factory and move away from this "you mod it you lost you're warranty" idea. Cars like the Mustang and the Challenger already have performance upgrades available straight from the factory. Offer it across the board from the v6 down to the top dog.
- GM also need to offer a sturdy and reliable drivetrain, not only would this cut out some of the redundant warranty work, but make the Camaro image strong. If things start breaking all the time the Camaro name is not going to get a good rep.
- And last but not least PLEASE speak and communicate with you're dealers the importance off this car. Don't let you're dealers offer these ridiculous markups and unreasonable offers. The G8 is already suffering from this. A lease for the 32k G8 is more than my 40k Trailblazer SS. Ridiculous. You need to get people into the car, not scare them away to the competition.

I've already posted in this thread once, but wanted to add:
I'm not really feeling the steering wheel of the pre-production mules. I prefer a 4 post wheel so the space at the bottom in the center is a place to rest your hand. Its not like we're at 10 and 2 all of the time, especially when cruising, and from a comfort perspective, the Vette steering wheel is more appealing.

NO ORANGE PEEL!! This is a problem for every single GM vehicle. look at a factory painted 4thgen, a C5, C6, even the G8 and G6. theres orange peel all over it!! I was out looking at C6's last week and i was disgusted by what I saw..... I dont want to have to wetsand and buff my new car .....
