I know a lot of people have expressed concern for Camaro accessories, he pretty much says they are working on a TON of stuff.
Larger wheels...Ground effects, spoilers, grill
We're in good shape a year before launch

This was something I voice some thoughts on a long time ago.
The aftermarket and bolt on parts are what originally built up the Camaro and later boosted the Mustang sales in the 80's.
I had hoped GM would have things ready for this car but also have them ready at the start and not 1-2 years later.
I work in the aftermarket and we get people from day one calling for parts. The bigger lead time GM gives to the MFG. the better.
The Camaro has always been a canvas for budding car builders to creat their own cars with.

I never bought a vehicle and added accessories, so I was wondering how this would work. If I order my car and bought accessories, would the dealer install it or could I install it? And if I bought different wheels before I even took delivery, would I be credited for the original factory wheels?

I have always said that the aftermarket will go crazy for the new Camaro, and I knew it would start with GM itself. I won't be surprised if dealers add them on and then charge a premium to the sticker as a "dealer add-on".

Sweet. That rr lower valance piece looks like it will be body color and go over the non-painted black plastic section. Its a good thing as I worry about those black plastics turning grey(i.e. 4thgen cowl) and what a hassle it would be to apply protectant on it, especially ALL those rectangles.
