As far as Lutz and Peper's comments.... I would guess it's most likely the Tech Center cranked out a mockup of the production car, and this is what they were referring to. That's pure speculation on my behalf.

That comment was from Lutz when comparing the concept to a mock prodution car , when he was trying to emphasize how indistinguishable the prodution car is(will be ) . You were right . I believe it was in Lutz's blog ...could be wrong .
