Gotcha. I work in video so I was thinking along video lighting. Anyway, we've beaten the hell out of this horse. I think we have proven that it is in fact ABM and not a different shade. Light makes or breaks this color. And the photographer tried to showcase the color as it is hard to photograph and show the color correctly. And having seen it in person, he fail just like everyone else that has tried to photograph ABM.
You simply must see it in person to judge it. Preferably in sunlight.

I completely agree. I remember when the Dodge Ram trucks came out in that blue. My jaw hit the floor. It's a beautiful color.
Now Dodge is pushing crap like this color.

Which looks better in this picture than it does in person. Way to much silver in it for my taste. This angle shows the silvery tint more

That dark blue is pretty.
It would look great with silver rally stripes and a gray interior.

i disagree tha tGM can't do blues. The bright blue metallic on the '86 and '87 Camaros was awesome. As was the GTO IBM color.
My '87 IROC would stop traffic it was so bright and had so much depth.

I LOVED the blue on the IROCS. I think it was electron Blue.

I saw an Aqua Blue Metallic Camaro LS by my house (up close might I add) and the color looked nothing like that. That looks like a different color to me!

Thus demonstrating what I'm saying. The chips in digital cameras don't see Aqua Blue Metalic (and Inferno Orange) in their true color. Even in direct sunlight. It either looks too blue or too green. The only way to get the real color is in person. Perhaps film might show it. But who takes film pictures anymore?

Looks exactly how ABL looks in pictures I've taken of it. So I'm certain that this isn't a "different" blue.
