On another site someone stated that certain colors ( red and silver ) would be distributed first . Later in the post they said that blue would not be available untill November ? I was aware that white would have late availability , but assumed that the rest of the colors would all be distributed in a mixed fashion from day one . Does anybody have a more informed opinion ? I am trying to plan a roadtrip from CT to Key West around the arrival of my Camaro and I dont know if I can wait that long . I was hopeing for late spring /early summer at the latest . Thanks in advance

 

White is the color that will be delayed - because we will be changing the 'shade' of white -- that we share with Impala and the new LaCrosse -- thus, it does not make sense to offer two separate shades of white.

The Blue issue means 'orderable' in November -- which we've made the change to edit tables and you can now order either Imperial Blue or Aqua Blue Metallic on the SS model.

 

I had 'read' that they could paint 4-6 colors at a time w/ the robots, and that the orders wouldn't have 'color seniority'. I don't think anyone except GM knows right now, and that rumors about which colors will be first are rampant.

 

I'm assuming/hoping that they're going to a brigher shade of white for the Camaro/Impala? The current Impala white has kind of a creamy tone, while the Corvette white is the bright, almost w/ a bluish tint, white.

 

i would LOVE a bright pearl white if u guys can put that together. if not normal white is fine with me

 

i wish the white were coming right at the start of productino. i would have jumped all over it. but i cant wait and i went with option 2 "the dark side" or black.

 

I have been very happy with my Arctic White. I hope the new white is even whiter.
