Chicago Auto Show Media Days!!!
We have been surrounded by many ongoing rumors in regards to the upcoming Chicago show...
Recently tension has raised further and some of the smoke has been cleared... We are getting closer!!
In Just a few days we will see what surprises GM has in store!
I am super excited to share that I have the opportunity to attend the Media Days! I will be there the 10th and be sure to update everyone with pictures and any other way I can!
Also keep in mind that Chevrolet is hosting a Breakfast the 12th with a tour of the display!
I am very excited for this show!!! You may have read what may be considered the 1st confirmation from GM that something Camaro related, in the works.. and coming soon!
"San Francisco- General Motors North American President Mark Reuss says the automaker will unveil a vehicle based on the Chevrolet Camaro platform.
Reuss said GM will show off the new vehicle at the Chicago auto show next week. He said it's GM planned to unveil at least one other new vehicle at the show."It will be fun," Reuss said told reporters. "I'm not going to give you guys any product information other than what I gave (in the presentation.) I'd ruin the whole show."
The company will advertise the Camaro in one of its six ads it will run during the Super Bowl.
He also said GM's Chevrolet Volt sales over the last two months were somewhat low because GM is working to get demonstration Volts to dealers.
"We're filling the dealer demo program so that all Chevrolet dealers have a chance to get the 'halo' effect to sell more cars," Reuss said. "It drives sales."
He said GM was "pretty much flat" on incentive spending in January but said GM would no longer disclose incentive spending. "We gave too much," Reuss said. "We're in a very competitive business and we're here to win."
Reuss spoke at a J.D. Power forum here ahead of the National Automobile Dealers Association convention that starts Saturday. dshepardson@detnews.com(202) 662-8735"
In addition, I have come across a blip of info that I also found exciting!!
"We will also have a subject matter expert available at 10 am at the Chevy display to discuss the latest Camaro product news that Chevy will be announcing the day prior."
This sounds like it will be a great day for Chevrolet and Enthusiasts alike!
